Interview – How to Lose The Last 10kg

Some of the biggest transformation you’ll see are the ones where people lose over half their body weight, which is truly inspiring. And then there are those that just want to shed the last 10kg from their tummy, hips and thighs. Generally speaking those last few kilos are the hardest to lose, hence many people end up giving up.

Not Catherine though.

As a friend and an inspiration to many females in their mid-20’s and in the same boat, Catherine is renowned amongst her peers for setting and achieving goals in extra-ordinary ways with extra-ordinary time frames.

From purchasing her first investment property without a job to having her design work exhibited at the Melbourne Museum at the age of 17; it comes to no surprise that she was able to completely transform her body and reduce her metabolic age by years in a matter of just 12 weeks.

After spending the last 5 years saturating herself in the personal development world, as a qualified life coach and hypnotherapist, Catherine knows a thing or two about how to get things done more efficiently, effortlessly and simply.

However, it was only more recently that she started to apply these techniques to her very own health and well being.

In fact, over the last few years, Catherine has overcome an eating disorder and yo-yo-ing fitness levels, and as a result, is currently working on designing a holistic program for women who are looking to overcome unwanted self sabotaging and eating habits such as emotional and binge eating themselves.

Rather than focusing purely just on exercise and nutrition, Catherine has found that by spending time reprogramming her brain she has been able to retrain her subconscious mind effortlessly. Which by the way, really is the ‘secret’ she claims to her success in both overcoming her eating disorder and creating her body transformation.

  • Weight: 81.5kg -> 72.4kg (-9.1kg)
  • Total Girth: 678cm -> 646 (-32cm)
  • Waist: 89cm -> 79cm (-10cm)

After maintaining her 20kg weight loss for over 6 months and then losing the last 10kg in just 12 weeks (winning her body transformation competition at her workplace), she is looking forward to tackling her next few challenges – Trekking Kokoda Trail and running a full Marathon later in 2012 and 2013.
